OUR MISSION
Our program aims to support students that are interested in a career as an MD/DO or PA. Students accepted into the mentorship program will be connected with a practicing Vituity Physician or Physician Assistant working one on one with them to help them reach their goal. Our program highlights our four aspects of mentorship, emphasizing personal development.

Program Information:
As a mentee, you will

Be matched with one of Vituity's medical providers to receive one-on-one individualized support and coaching throughout the program.

Receive personalized support throughout the application process, including help with personal statement and interview prep​

Program Requirements:

Mentees accepted into the program must attend our monthly seminar sessions every fourth Wednesday of the month (*some date changes), from 4-5:00 PM PDT.

Mentees are assigned different books every two months to read that focuses on personal development. Each book will have a short reading assignment.

Mentees will participate in Student-Led Discussion Groups held in the first few months the program begins. These presentations provide mentees with an opportunity to develop their research presentation skills and learn more about a health-related topic for potential interview questions.

The program session for the next cohort officially starts June 25, 2023, and runs until July 2024.

Applications for the 2022-2023 program are accepted until May 30, 2023​
APPLICATION
We accept online applications until May 30, 2023, for the 2023-2024 cohort. Selected applicants will then be invited to complete a Zoom interview to further assess each applicant's goals.

Qualifications:
We are looking for pre-med/pre-PA students who are passionate, dedicated, and motivated to serve as future health care providers.
To be eligible for the mentorship program, students must meet the following qualifications:

Students must be junior/senior standing or a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree.

MCAT, PA-CAT, GRE score is not required before applying
